A great result for Ireland considering the action that took place across the group. There is a great opportunity now for them to qualify as the Russians look to be a shadow of their former selves. But let’s get rating.

Some important saves needed to be made and Westwood delivered. He could not have done too much about the goal but he needed to be alert in the second half half. A brilliant save kept Ireland in the game. Only time will tell how important that save will be for our qualification campaign.
